Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh congratulated Dr.Barani Kanth, Associate Professor, Dept. of Applied Psychology for being invited as a member of Scientific Committee for Cross-cultural Research by American Psychological Association (APA), International Psychology Division.

Lt. Gen. S. Mohan, AVSM, SM, VSM called on Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh on 16.06.2022 as a courtesy visit. Registrar, Dean (IR) and PU-NCC Officer were present during his visit.

Her Excellency Mrs. Lise Talbot Barré, Consul General of France in Pondicherry & Chennai, and Prof. Blandine Ripert, Director, IFP had a brief discussion with the Director (SEI&RR), Registrar, Dean (IR), Dean (SoH), & HoD (French) on 10.06.2022 regarding academic collaboration.

Vice-Chancellor of Pondicherry University Prof.Gurmeet Singh attended the Visitor’s Conference held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi from 7th and 8th June 2022.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh, congratulated Dr. Ujjwal Jana, Associate Professor, Dept. of English, for receiving the Hungarian State Scholarship for the year 2021-2022, funded by Tempus Foundation, Government of Hungary.

Vice-Chancellor Prof.Gurmeet Singh, congratulated Dr. Vinoth Rajendran, DST-INSPIRE Faculty, Dept. of Microbiology, recipient of FANNY HESSE TEACHING EXCELLENCE AWARD 2022 by International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation, for his contribution in the field of Medical Parasitology.

Public Lecture by our Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh on the topic “Electrochemistry in Daily Life” held on 01.06.2022 at J.N. Auditorium. Deans, HoDs, Officers, Staff & Students of Pondicherry University participated in the event.

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh, inaugurated Annual Foundation School – I (Four Week Intensive Training in Mathematics) on 30.05.2022. The event was sponsored by National Centre for Mathematics and was organised by the Dept. of Mathematics, Pondicherry University.
