As a part of celebration of “Van Mahotsav 2022” One Day Seminar on “Forest, People & Law” was organized by School of Law, Dept. of Ecology & Environmental Sciences & O/o. Green Campus, PU, funded by Directorate of Forests & Wildlife, Govt. of Puducherry on 26.07.2022.

As a part of celebration of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” Col. Somraj Gulia, Group Commander, NCC Group HQ, Puducherry, delivered a Spl. Lecture on “Har Ghar Jhanda: Flag Code of India 2002″on 25.07.2022. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh, Directors, Registrar, Officers, Faculty & Staff participated in the event.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh, congratulated Dr. B. Ravikumar, Associate Professor, Subramania Bharathi School of Tamil, for receiving the prestigious Thara Bharathi Award and Cash Prize for his services to Tamil Literature & Literary Criticism held at Chennai, recently.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh, congratulated Dr. K. Srinivasamoorthy, Professor, Dept. of Earth Sciences for receiving two major research project to the tune of Rs.1.27 Cr. funded by World Bank, NHP, Ministry of Jal Shakti through Govt. of Puducherry for Groundwater Studies in Puducherry.

MoU Signing Ceremony between Pondicherry University and Indiana University (IU) held on 18.07.2022. Prof. Mark Canada, Dy. Chancellor, IU & Registrar, PU signed the MoU in the presence of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh, Prof.Chitti Babu, Dean, SoB, IU, Dean (SoM), Dean (IR), & Faculties.
