VC (i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu delivered inaugural address at the Seminar: Environmental Priorities of Viksit Bharat@2047 organised by Centre for Pollution Control & Environmental Engg. on 13.02.2024. Faculty, Students and Staff actively participated in the Seminar.

The Centre for Women’s Studies, Pondicherry University conducted a brainstorming session on 22nd December 2023 on the role of youth in making India a developed nation and in creating an environment of collective responsibility as part of Viksit Bharat programme. The students took part and shared their views and agreed to be part of Viksit Bharat. Dr. Kamalaveni, Assosciate Professor of the Centre coordinated the programme.

Hon’ble Vice-President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankar interacted with Pondicherry University students on the theme of #ViksitBharat@2047 & he planted saplings at the University.

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor (i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu welcomed Hon’ble Vice-President of India & Chancellor of Pondicherry University Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar in the interaction session with the students on the theme of “Viksit Bharat @ 2047” held at Pondicherry University.

In connection of Viksit Bharat @2047 Department of management studies, Pondicherry University conducted the Panel discussion programme on 21.12.2023.

In connection of Viksit Bharat @2047 Department of Computer science, Pondicherry University conducted the Awareness activities programme on 21.12.2023.

In connection of Viksit Bharat@2047 School of Education, Pondicherry University conducted Glimpse of Debate/Elocution on 21.12.2023

As a part of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor (Officiating) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu interacted with students under the “Half a day with Vice-Chancellor” programme.
