It is my distinct privilege to welcome you to Pondicherry University Community College (PUCC), a landmark institution in the landscape of Indian higher education. Established in 1995 with the recognition of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of Education, Government of India, PUCC holds the proud distinction of being the very first conceptualised Community College in India. For over three decades, we have dedicated ourselves to serving the youth of Puducherry and its surrounding regions by offering transformative courses in the fields of undergraduate, Vocational undergraduate, Advanced Diploma, PG Diploma & Diploma programmes.
In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, our curriculum is carefully crafted to focus on skill enhancement, experiential learning, and robust job opportunities. We take pride in being a pioneer in employment-oriented education, offering specialized courses across healthcare, commerce, information technology, and sports. Our programs blend rigorous academic theory with intensive practical training, mandatory internships, and immersive field visits to ensure our graduates are industryready from day one.
Our vibrant campus is secured with a CCTV surveillance system, Wi-Fi enabled, RO drinking water and includes playgrounds, designed for holistic excellence.
