Research Area

With 2 years administrative experience as Tourism Officer of Andhra Pradesh and 17 years of academic and research experience, I joined the Department of Tourism Studies, Pondicherry University on 20.09.2006 as Faculty Member. My specialisations configure Destination Branding, Travel Journalism, and Cultural Tourism. I am a registered consultant of ADB. I have also been a consultant of Sand Pebbles Tourism in Odisha. I have penned 7 books which includes a volume of poetry titled Looking Beyond. I have published 15 papers in International journals and 25 research papers in National Journals. I am Editor of the UGC recognised Tri lingual publication Bharatha Pathrika. I have received commendation certificates from Pondicherry University as well as Tourism Departments. I have received Merit Certificate for Best Teacher Award continuously six times till 2019. Yoga is a passion and literary jottings is a hobby.
