Prof.K.Tharanikkarasu, Vice Chancellor(i/c) inaugurated the One Day National Workshop organised by the Department of Tourism Studies on Setting Service Parameters and Standard Operating Procedures for Cruise Tourism Operations on 6.11.2024 in the School of Management Auditorium. Prof.Malabika Deo presided the inaugural session. Prof.Anu Chandran, Head of the Department delivered the welcome address. The Resource Persons comprised Prof.K.Sivaprasad from Department of Ship Technology, CUSAT, Shri.Jose Charles, Joint Director (Retd.), Bureau of Indian Standards and Shri.Sony N.L, Naval Architect, Ship Tech Icon. This workshop sponsored by BIS is one of a kind in the country. While Dr.Sherry Abraham, Associate Professor rendered the scope of the event, Dr.Sibi P.S, Associate Professor proposed vote of thanks.
