Dr. S. Sudalaimuthu serves as a Professor in the Department of Banking Technology at the School of Management and holds the esteemed position of Dean at the Subramania Bharathi School of Tamil, Pondicherry Central University, Puducherry. With an impressive 34 years of pedagogical experience and 24 years dedicated to research, he has established himself as a prominent figure in his field.
-His areas of specialization encompass Accounting, Finance, and Systems. Throughout his illustrious career, he has undertaken various significant roles, including Principal, Head of Department, and Chief Warden. He has successfully guided over 41 M.Phil students and has been instrumental in producing 20 Ph.D. graduates.
-Dr. Sudalaimuthu has authored 10 books published by both Indian and international publishers and has contributed more than 200 articles to esteemed national and international journals disseminated by leading publishers. He has actively participated in over 100 national and international seminars and workshops held in diverse locations across India and abroad, where he has presented numerous papers. His academic pursuits have taken him to Thailand, Russia, Oman, and Brazil for paper presentations.
-He is deeply engaged in Teaching, Research, Curriculum Development, authorship of educational materials, and the organization of workshops and seminars. Notably, he has designed and introduced four job-oriented certificate courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as an Inter-Disciplinary MBA FinTech course for postgraduate students.
-Dr. Sudalaimuthu has successfully completed three funded research projects supported by the UGC and ICSSR. He is a member of the Indian Accounting Association and the Madras Management Association and serves on the Board of Studies and Academic Council in numerous institutions across India.
-His contributions have been recognized with a cash award and honors from the Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education and the Department of Higher Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. He has been bestowed with the Best Teacher Award from Pondicherry University on five occasions.
