Research Area
Shijin S has a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in the area of finance and has over 17 years of teaching experience. He teaches Financial Modelling and Valuation, Forensic Accounting, Data Analysis for Decision Making, and Financial Reporting. His research interests include Asset Pricing, Term Structure of Interest rates, Agency Theory, Financial Contagion, Information Asymmetry, and Wealth Inequality. He has several research publications in reputed National and International Journals and has supervised 6 Ph.D. candidates. He has received the Best Teacher award for the academic year 2014-2015, 2015 -2016,2017-2018 and 2018-19 from Pondicherry University
