Research Area

I am a native of Kallidai Kurichi, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu.  Completed my Schooling at a government Higher Secondary School at this village.  Completed my B.Sc.Ed. and  M.Sc.Ed. in Mathematics from  Mysore University,  Karnataka.  Obtained my Ph.D.in Mathematics from the  Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.  Have more than 32 years of Teaching and Research experience.

As a mathematics teacher, I always strive in engaging the students to improve their learning in the subject by showing empathy and understanding of what is going on in the students’ lives. I am mostly very attentive, observant, empathetic, and always have a positive attitude.
