Dr.P. Shanthi Bala is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science, School of Engineering and Technology, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry. She received her B.Tech., M.Tech., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Pondicherry University. She was the top performer in her college and secured the 4th rank at the university level during her undergraduate studies. She has more than 19 years of teaching experience, including 4 years at the undergraduate level. Her research interests include Networks, Knowledge Engineering, Information Security and the Internet of Things. She has published more than 90 papers in reputed journals like Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Word Scientific, Emerald, etc. She is the recipient of the Best Teacher Award and also received the Best Paper Award at the ACM conference.
