Dr. Maheswaran Mani

Research Area

Maheswaran Mani is Assistant Professor in Department of Microbiology, Pondicherry University. He was awarded Ph.D. from Justus Liebig University, Germany with Magna cum laude (Very good grade) and Post-Doctoral fellowship from Stanford University, USA. He is recipient of PhD fellowship from German research foundation, German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). He had received several awards, honors and is a life member of various scientific societies including Indian Immunology Society, Indian Cell Biology Society and The Society of Biological Chemists. His present research is focused on Infection-Immunity, Stem cell Biology and his lab is supported by funding agency DBT, ICMR and DST-SERB.
