Research Area
Dr. S. Amilan is presently working as Professor in the Department of Commerce, Karaikal Campus of Pondicherry University. An alumnus of Loyola College, Chennai, completed M.Com. (Buainess Finance) Programme of Pondicherry University in the year 1995. He qualified for the UGC Lectureship cum JRF while pursuing his P.G. programme and earned his Ph.D. degree from Alagappa University, Karaikudi where he worked as a Faculty member for more than a decade. He has taught Finance and Economics courses for M.B.A(International Business) and M.Com. programmes and specializes in Portfolio Management and International Finance. He has more than 15 years of experience in guiding M.Phil. and Ph.D. scholars. Published research papers in peer reviewed journals and presented many research papers in national and International conferences. He has acted as resource person in various FDPs, Conferences and Seminars in higher educational institutions.
