Celebration of 73rd Republic Day at Pondicherry University

Visit of Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting and Youth Affairs & Sports to Pondicherry University on 05.01.2022 in connection with National Youth Festival

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh addressing the Teaching and Non-Teaching staff of Pondicherry University on the occasion of New Year 2022.

Ramanujan School of Mathematical Sciences of Pondicherry University celebrated “National Mathematics Day” on 22.12.2021. Vice-Chancellor paid tribute to Shri Srinivasa Ramanujan by garlanding his bust at the entrance of the school.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh laid the foundation stone at “Bhoomi Pooja Ceremony” on 27.09.2021, for construction of new Quarters Building. Director (SEI&RR), Director (C&CR), Registrar i/c, Finance Officer i/c, Executive Engineer i/c & other official were present.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh laid the foundation stone at “Bhoomi Pooja Ceremony” on 27.09.2021, for construction of new Animal House Building. Director (SEI&RR), Director (C&CR), Registrar i/c, Finance Officer i/c, Executive Engineer i/c & other official were present.

Vice-Chancellor Prof.Gurmeet Singh paid homage to the legendary poet and freedom fighter ‘Mahakavi Bharathi’ Subramania Bharati on his 100th Death Anniversary.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh laid the foundation stone at “Bhoomi Pooja Ceremony” for construction of new Girls Hostel on 03.09.2021. Director (SEI&RR), Registrar, Civil Consultant, Faculty, Officers & Staff were present during the ceremony.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh released a brief video and posters about COVID Awareness in the interest of General Public. The Head & Technical Staff of EMMRC were present during the release.
