Hon’ble Vice Chancellor(i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu released a book authored by the Dr. KV Sunooj, Associate Professor, Dept. of Food Science and Technology named “Starch Structure, Properties and Modifications for Food Applications” in CRC Press, Taylor and Francis, New York, USA

Prof.K.Tharanikkarasu, Vice Chancellor(i/c) launched the book titled Tourism and Peace edited by Prof.Anu Chandran, Head, Dept. of Tourism Studies with Prof.Sivesan Sivanandamoorthy, Program Head, Dept. of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka and Ms.Reena, Research Scholar, DTS, PU. The book has been jointly published by Pondicherry University and University of Jaffna.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tharanikarasu felicitated Prof. V. Nagarajan, Department of Electronics Engineering, for publishing the book Fundamentals of Analog and Digital Signal Processing. Prof. Yedla Venkata Rao, Dean, Students Welfare received the first copy to publish the book under vice chancellor

Our alumnus Amal Chandra, policy analyst and columnist, presented a copy of his debut book, ‘The Essential’, to Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu, accompanied by Dr. Nanda Kishor, Head of the Department of Politics and International Studies.

“An Introduction to Engineering Drawing-Traditional and Computational Approaches” by Dr. K. Karthik Selva Kumar et.al. Assistant Professor in the Department of Green Energy Technology was released by Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu Vice Chancellor, in the chamber of the VC on 27/06/2024. Prof. Clement S. Lourdes, Director Cultural and Cultural Relations graced the occasion and congratulated the authors. Dr. M. Vijayakumar, Librarian Pondicherry University and Dr. P.Thilakan, Dean Academic were present. The text book is the first of its kind based on the NEP 2020 Framework

A book titled Pravesh-Rite of Passage, co-authored by Dr. Vidya Sarveswaran, Associate Professor Department of English was recently released by the Hon’ble Prime Minister at the inaugural ceremony of the India Art, Architecture and Design Biennale 2023 at the Red Fort in New Delhi on 8 th December 2023. This book was one of the seven thematic books released at the Biennale 2023.

Hindi transcreation of eminent Sambalpuri-Kosli poet Haldhar Nag’s (‘Padmashree’) epic ‘Prem Pehachan’ rendered by Shri Dinesh Kumar Mali was released by Prof. Gurmeet Singh, Honourable Vice Chancellor of Pondicherry University.
