Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Pondicherry University, Prof. Gurmeet Singh congratulated Dr. Arunkumar Dhayalan, Associate Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Pondicherry University for receiving the prestigious DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance Intermediate fellowship award.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh released a book on “Bioinformatics & Computational Biology – A Primer for Biologists” on 17.12.2021. The book is authored by Dr. Basant K. Tiwary, Professor, Centre for Bioinformatics, Pondicherry University.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh released the Panjabi version of the School Psychology in the Indian Context author: Dr. Panch Ramalingam and translated by Dr. Jagpreet Kaur, Patiala University.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh inaugurated the “Antimicrobial Awareness Campaign” organised by the Department of Microbiology, Pondicherry University on 22.11.2021.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh launched the Pondicherry University Director of Distance Education Web Portal and Online Admissions on 18.11.2021. Director(DDE), Director(C&CR), Registrar, Finance Officer,Dean(CDC), Systems Manager, Technical Team and other Teaching & Non-Teaching staff were present during the launch.

VC Prof. Gurmeet Singh inaugurated International Conference (15-17 Nov, 2021) on Nagari Lipi and Scientific Writing held in collaboration with Nagari Lipi Parishad & VCRC. Director of VCRC, Chairman of NLP, Deputy Chairman, Kendriya Hindi Shikshan Mandal & others participated.
