The PG students and Research Scholars of the Centre for Women’s Studies, Pondicherry University along with the Centre’s Soft Core students, made a visit to SAKHI: ONE STOP CENTRE in Pondicherry on 28/6/2023. The purpose of this visit was to understand the functioning, procedures and effectiveness of this Centre in providing support to women affected by violence and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Ananda Rangapillai Library, Pondicherry University, in collaboration with Oxford University Press, organized a Workshop on “Citation Styles and Tools in Academic Writing” on Thursday, 22nd June 2023, from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. at the School of Management (SOM) Auditorium for Faculty, Research Scholars, and Students of Pondicherry University.

Pondicherry University celebrated 9th International Day of Yoga on 21.06.2023. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh, Directors, Registrar, Librarian, Dean, Faculty, Staff and Student of PU actively participated and performed yoga asanas and breathing techniques.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh and Director (SEI&RR) congratulated Prof. Bakthadoss and his team whose article on meta-C-H activation being featured on the cover page of the Royal Society of Chemistry, London.
