Pondicherry University Dept. of Computer Science in association with National Institute of MSME, extended invitation to our Vice-Chancellor(i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikarsu, for the one-week workshop on “Cyber Security” to encourage Entrepreneurs in Cyber Security space. The topics includes Cybersecurity, Cyber Attacks, Cyber Forensics, etc.

Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu, Vice-Chancellor( i/c) congratulated the Horticulture Wing of Pondicherry University for winning “First Place” (among Institution in Puducherry) and a “Rolling Trophy Cup” in the Flower Show conducted by the Govt. of Puducherry at the Botanical Garden from 9th to 11th Feb. 2024.

Pondicherry University signed an MoU with Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) on 09.02.2024. The Registrar (i/c), PU and Dr. R. R. Dhanapall, Chairman, IIPA-Puducherry, exchanged the MoU in the presence of VC (i/c) Prof. Tharanikkarasu and other officials of PU.

Ministry of Education in conjunction with UGC, AICTE organized a National event of APAAR ID on 13th Feb 2024. Dr. R Vishnu Vardhan, Associate Professor, represented Pondicherry University and met Dr. M. Jagadeesh Kumar, UGC Chairman.

Hon’ble Prime Minister of India congratulated Pondicherry University for conducting of #G20 Library Summit 2024: Connecting the nations for knowledge & Cultural heritage international conference at Pondicherry University

The Vice-chancellor congratulated Prof. Venkateswara Sarma V and Prof. Sudha Rani S of the School of Life Sciences and their team on securing 3 international, convention country patents related to their commercially viable 4th generation bio-refinery processes

Vice-Chancellor(i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu, chaired the NEP Brainstorming Session on framing of Undergraduate (U.G.) Honours Degree syllabus in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) held on 23.01.2024 at 3.00 P.M

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu(i/c) inaugurated and delivered a presidential address on G20 Library Summit and released the book of abstracts organized by the Anand Rangapillai Central Library, Pondicherry University. The Director (CCR), Registrar(i/c), Other Directors, Deans, Professors, Officers and other delegates were also accompanied on during this occasion
