Vice-Chancellor(i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu, chaired the NEP Brainstorming Session on framing of Undergraduate (U.G.) Honours Degree syllabus in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) held on 23.01.2024 at 3.00 P.M

Tharanikkarasu(i/c) inaugurated and delivered a presidential address on G20 Library Summit and released the book of abstracts organized by the Anand Rangapillai Central Library, Pondicherry University. The Director (CCR), Registrar(i/c), Other Directors, Deans, Professors, Officers and other delegates were also accompanied on during this occasion

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor (i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu congratulated Dr. K. Karthik Selva Kumar, Asst. Professor of GET, for receiving a project on “Design & Development of Cost Effective…”under Technologies for Underwater Exploration from IIT Guwahati Technology Innovation & Development Foundation

Vice-Chancellor i/c congratulated Dr. Hannah & Team, Dept. of Biotechnology who has been awarded Patent on Novel Nanoformulation developed for wound healing. It comprises of Keratin from chicken feathers, pectin from banana peel, ferulic acid from plants & silver nano particles.

The Day Care Centre & Pre-Primary School organized the Pongal Celebrations on 05.02.2024. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor (i/c) Cum Chairman (DCC & PPS), Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu was the Chief guest and Prof. Clement Sagayaradja Lourdes, Director (C &CR) & Dr. Rajneesh Bhutani, Registrar (i/c) were the Guest of Honour. On this occasion, cultural programmes like Silambattam, Kummi and folk dances were performed by the parents and children of the Day Care Centre & Pre-Primary School. Rangoli & Uriadithal competitions were also conducted and distributed the prizes.

Hon’ble Home & Education Minister of Puducherry Shri Namassivayam delivered a valedictory address & Vice-Chancellor (i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu delivered a presidential address on IAAP International conference & jointly felicitated IAAP 2024 award at PondicherryUniversity
