Central Animal House Facility (CAHF) at Pondicherry University was established in 2008 to accomplish the requirements of various investigators from different departments in Pondicherry University. CAHF is registered with the committee for the purpose of control and supervision of experiments on animals (CPCSEA), Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, New Delhi (Registration Number: 1159/GO/Re/S/08/CPCSEA All activities associated to laboratory animal research at Central Animal House Facility (CAHF) at Pondicherry University are performed as per the guidelines of CPCSEA, New Delhi as well as institutional guidelines under the supervision of Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC).
