LLM (Corporate and Securities Laws)
The demand for legal professionals with Corporate and Securities Law as a specialization is undoubted and ever growing with the advent of the new Economic policy and the increasing ease of doing business. This specialization provides a cutting-edge opportunity to the students and prepares them for the transition from the classroom to the corporate world. From litigation to law firms, from academics to corporate counsels, from setting up one’s own law firm to working in Government organizations/institutions, the career avenues are immense and diverse. The continuous assessment pattern includes submission of research papers, presentations, group discussions and projects.
Who can prefer this Course
The candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree in Law or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General Category/OBC and 45% marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
The selection will be through a 2-stage process. Stage-1 considers the score obtained in CUET. Based on the merit list generated on the basis of CUET scores, candidates will be called to appear for Stage-2 in-person. This stage considers the performance in Group Discussion, Presentation and Personal Interview which shall be held in-person at the School of Law. Criteria for Preparation of Final Merit list (2022-2023):-

Evaluation of this programme shall be based on internal assessment and end-term examination for 50% each. The students are required to complete six core papers and a dissertation along with a dedicated 21-day internship. Apart from that, the students need to complete four elective papers from the specialization cluster and can choose two more electives from the other clusters.
