Lakshmi Krishnakumar is trained in sociology at the Bachelors and Masters levels from Bharathiyar University and Pondicherry University, and holds an MPhil in sociology of medicine from Jawaharlal Nehru University. She has more than 4 years of teaching experience, and has taught law students as well as sociology majors. She has considerable research experience also. At DACE, Lakshmi teaches Sociology as well as General Studies (History, Geography, and Current Affairs).
