Research Area
I, Dr.V. Uma, am presently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Pondicherry University. I received my M.Tech, and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Pondicherry University in 2007 and 2014 respectively. I am a recipient of the Pondicherry University gold medal for my M.Tech. degree. I have more than 15 years of teaching experience at Post Graduate level. My research interest includes Machine Learning, Deep learning, Knowledge representation reasoning and Sentiment analysis. I have authored and co-authored more than 35 peer-reviewed journal publications. I have also authored books on Python and C++. I have received 2 Best Paper Awards in International Conferences.
