Dr. Shyamtanu Pal is currently working with the School of Law, Pondicherry Central University as Assistant Professor. He is associated with the teaching fraternity for more than a decade and has a unique experience of teaching at National Law Universities, Govt. Law Colleges and Deemed Universities across the country. He was also the founding faculty of the School of Law, Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE), Chennai in 2019. Before joining CARE, he was teaching both undergraduate and post graduate level at various universities like Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh; Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore; G.D. Goenka University, Delhi (NCR) and Tripura Govt. Law College, Agartala. He is an alumni of National Law School, Raipur with Corporate and Securities Law as his specialization. Before joining academics, he had a brief stint of professional practice at Tripura.
Dr. Pal was being selected to represent India at the ADB Regional Capacity Development Technical Assistance Program on “Environmental and Climate Change Laws in Asia and the Pacific” held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, 2018. He has presented papers in various national and international seminars/conferences, published several articles in various journals, periodicals, written chapters in several edited volumes on various contemporary legal and social issues ranging from cyber law, climate change, cryptocurrency, environmental jurisprudence, corporate and security laws etc. He has been invited as a resource person to deliver special lectures at various Universities/Colleges across the country.
