Research Area
I am Dr S. Sivachandiran, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Pondicherry University. As a fully qualified Physical Educationist with varied experience. There’s much I am offering in Physical Education. I have 15 years of experience in the field of Sports as a participant at various levels of competition. I am qualified for athletics officiating. The main area of Specialization in Exercise Physiology, Sports Medicine, Sports Training, Anatomy Physiology, Sports nutrition, Kabaddi and Cricket. I have represented the state and south zone inter-university kabaddi team. During my Post-doctoral fellowship from the International Association of Sports and ICT in Association with Asia Africa development council, I was awarded the International Award of Excellence in research. I got a fellowship from ICSSR during my PhD and Post-doctoral fellowship. I live in Pondicherry with my family. I am confident that my passion for student development and my skills and experience will enable me to make a significant difference at your institution.
