Research Area

Dr.S.P.Rajamohana is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, School of Engineering and Technology, Pondicherry University, Kariakal Campus, Karaikal, Puducherry UT, India. She obtained her B.Tech IT from Thiagrajar College of Engineering in 2006. She received her M.Tech IT from PSG College of Technology in 2008. She completed her Ph.D.in the area of Spam Review Classification using Bio Inspired Algorithms in February 2019. Her consistent work let her to get Anna University Supervisor recognition in September 2019. Her research area includes Evolutionary Algorithms, Deep Learning, Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence. She is the reviewer for Soft Computing, Springer, Hindawi and Elsevier. She has organized one International Conference and National Conference. She has organized and attended many Faculty Development Programmes. She has visited Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2017 to present her research paper and won the best paper award. In 2018, she has presented her research article and attended a summer school in Gdansk University, Poland. She has visited Lincoln University, Malaysia in 2019 to present her research paper. She has received UGC Travel Grant twice for presenting her research papers in the International Universities. She has received two best paper awards. She has filed and published one Patent in 2019. As such, she has published around 15 Scopus indexed International Journals with more than 229 citations in Google scholar contributing to h-index value 8 and i10-index value 7. She is having 14 years of experience in Teaching. She worked as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Information Technology, PSG College of Technology Coimbatore. Apart from the academic activity, she worked as the Resident tutor from 2008 to 2012. She was the Deputy Warden for PSG Tech Ladies Hostel from 2017 to 2022.
