Dr. R. Lydia is working as Assistant professor in the department of Physics at Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India. She did her doctoral studies in physics entitled ‘Synthesis and characterization of CZTS nanoparticles for Solar cell applications’ from Sri Venkateswara university, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. She worked as a post docotoral fellow on Thermoelectric materials at Kyung Hee University, South Korea, during Nov 2014-Aug 2016. She worked as a Research associate on gold nanoparticles at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi during Jul 2017-Dec 2017. During Jun2020-Nov2020 and Nov2022-Apr 2023 she worked as visiting researcher on gold, silver nanoparticles and on waste water treatment respectively. Her research work was published in various renowned international scientific journals and was also presented at both national and international conferences. She also has 3 years of teaching experience during her doctoral studies for M.Sc and Btech physics.
