Research Area
My specialization is in Hydrogeology, especially in groundwater flow & pollution transport modelling. I work on landslides & presently working on the development of an indigenous forecasting system. I am an expert in environmental impact assessment in various aspects. Recent research interest in coastal hydrology and climate change. I had involved in Revitalization of Rivers in India Draft Recommendation – The Fundamentals. The River policy has been adopted by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, and Jal Sakthi to Rejuvenate 13 major Indian rivers. I am interested in extending my research on river rejuvenation with forest cover.
