Prof. Lakshmi PTV, a creative and enthusiastic teacher and learner with sixteen years of experience in the field of Bioinformatics, focuses on Phytomatic research, involving the plant metabolites for diverse applications as drug targets for human disorders and is also concerned about applying NGS platforms for routing the causes and mechanisms of plant diseases for suggesting the preventive strategies. Through different journey of her academic services in a highly controlled working environment, she has successfully completed few funded projects and has produced notably 9 doctorates holding good positions in the academic world. She has participated and presented in almost 59 Conferences/ Seminars and has 66 publications in reputed journals to her credit. Her academic dedication has fetched her opportunities to serve as member in many different committees and boards and presently keeping herself engaged with additional duty as a Cheif Warden of the girls’ hostels.
