Geology graduate with M.Sc, M.Phil, and Ph.D. in Geology with specialization in Hydrogeology. Twenty years of experience in teaching, research, and supervising M.Sc/M.Tech/Doctoral associates. Established a hydrogeology laboratory in the department and executed research projects supported by funding agencies and consultancy projects, published 117 research articles, book chapters and conference papers with h-index – 29, i10-index – 62, citations -2850 (Google Scholar-2020). Fellow of Indian Geophysical Union. Technical member for Pondicherry groundwater, forest authority and associated in developing rainwater harvesting structures and water management strategies in Pondicherry University. Presently as associate editor in the Journal of Applied water science, Springer.
