Research Area
I have joined in Department of Performing Arts, Pondicherry Central University in 2007 as Assistant Professor and started exploring the subject of Actor, Training and Acting through Play productions, workshops, Seminars , guiding PhD research scholar and projects. Basically I am a trained theatre artist from the well known Theatre Trust ” Koothu-P-Pattarai” (Chennai) having professional experience of 15 years including acting in 30 play productions, conducted actor training programmes, Corporate theatre workshops and involved in Street Theatre Projects. Learnt the skills of various Art forms like; Yoga, Tai-Chi-Chuan, Kalaripayattu, Silambam, Tang-Ta, Devarattam and Therukuthu . Having working experiences with Regional , National and International Theatre Experts.
