M.Sc., in Applied Geology and Ph.D., with specialization in Hydrogeology. Scientific Research Post – Doctoral Fellow and Associate Researcher at Sun Yat – Sen University, China. Executed two major research grants from CPDSF & Ministry of Education, successfully collaboration with Nanning Normal University, China. Ten years of research experience in the field of Environmental Geochemistry, Geoinformatics (RS & GIS), Geohydrology (Groundwater), and Metal pollution (Sediments and Water) studies. Published about 40 research articles, 8 book chapters and conference proceedings in reputed international and national journals. Awarded best performer in research from AEACI-BARC, Mumbai.

Participated in various training programmes, workshops and presented paper in national and international conferences and seminars. Served as Guest Editor in the special issue on “New Trends in Groundwater Science – A Comprehensive Approach” hosted by Springer – SN Applied Sciences journal. Member in international research associations like International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS), International Association for Mathematical Geosciences (IAMG), Association of Environmental Analytical Chemistry of India (AEACI), and American Association for Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). Invited reviewer in the reputed international journals (Eg. Chemosphere, Environmental Pollution, Environmental Science Pollution Research, Applied Water Science, Marine Pollution Bulletin, and Environmental Research, etc).
