Dr. Dilshith A. Kabeer is a highly motivated and enthusiastic educator who wants all the students to be successful learners. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education and Sports. He worked as a faculty member in the Department of Physical Education at the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, from January 2020 to April 2022. He became an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physical Education & Sports, Pondicherry University, in April 2022. He was awarded UGC-JRF and SRF fellowships. He was awarded the K. R. Narayanan Award for Best Postgraduate Student in Academics in 2014 from Pondicherry University. He completed his PhD and Master’s (M.P.Ed) degrees from Pondicherry University and MBA in Sports Management from TNPESU. His area of expertise is the Science of Sports Training Methods, Sports Biomechanics and Performance Evaluation.
He had successfully organised various National webinars on the Writing and Publication of Research Article: Principles & Pitfalls, Present and Proposed Scenario of Teacher Training Institutions: Future Road Map for NEP-2020, Exercise Mother of Heart, and Career and Professional Development in Physical Education and Sports. He has two Innovation Patents in the field of Sports Sciences. He also presented a paper at the International Sports Science Students Conference organised by the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
