Dr. B. Rajeswari is a Professor in the Department of Management Studies, School of Management, Pondicherry University, with a specialization in Marketing. She brings a unique academic blend to her profession, holding an undergraduate degree in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University—an aspect that serves as her unique selling proposition. She has further enriched her academic journey with an MBA, M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Management.

With a robust research portfolio, Dr. Rajeswari has authored 39 research papers published in reputed journals including those indexed in ABDC, Scopus, Emerald, and UGC-CARE. Her core research interests lie in Sales & Distribution and Retailing, with a keen emphasis on Rural Marketing. She also possesses interdisciplinary expertise in Operations Management, particularly in Six Sigma.

An advocate for academic innovation, Dr. Rajeswari has co-developed a MOOC course on “Multivariate Data Analysis” for Anna University’s ODL platform, in collaboration with Dr. S. Riasudeen and Dr. R. Venkatesa Kumar. She has also contributed to the development of course material for “Integrated Marketing Communication” for Anna University CDE.

Dr. Rajeswari is an editorial board member for esteemed journals such as the Amity Journal of Marketing and the International Journal of Innovative Research in Management Studies. She also serves on the Board of Studies for several academic institutions.

A committed academic leader, she has played a pivotal role in organizing more than 20 Research Methodology workshops, two International Conferences, and one collaborative seminar. She has also contributed as an editor for two academic books.

In her administrative and student engagement roles, Dr. Rajeswari has excelled as a Placement Coordinator, successfully placing five batches comprising 400 students. Her dedication was especially notable during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she served as a Task Force Committee member, providing counselling and support to students.
