Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh laid the foundation stone at “Bhoomi Pooja Ceremony” for construction of additional building to the Department of History on 03.09.2021. Director (SEI&RR), Registrar, Civil Consultant, Faculty, Officers & Staff were present during the ceremony.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh released a brief video and posters about COVID Awareness in the interest of General Public. The Head & Technical Staff of EMMRC were present during the release.

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh flagged off Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 event on 13th Aug. 2021 organised by Dept. of Physical Education & Sports. Children, Students, Faculty & Staff of Pondicherry University actively participated the event.

Pondicherry University was one of the two universities selected for the research study “Universities facing Climate Change and Sustainability” from India, in addition to the universities from the USA, South Africa, Germany, Japan, Brazil, and the UK, supported by the GUC Hamburg.
