The Centre for Women’s Studies and the NSS unit of Pondicherry University, Puducherry organized a three days Sensitization Programme in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudur on “Youth Leadership Development & Social Justice” from 11-13 March, 2023 at the School of Management auditorium, Pondicherry University.

Our esteemed Vice Chancellor Professor. Gurmeet Singh unveiled the Renovated Memory Stele “Route of Indian Workers” on 22.08.2022 at Cultural-cum-Convention Centre, PU, in the presence of Deputy-Consulate General of France and delegates from Reunion.

Pondicherry University celebrated 8th International Yoga Day on 21.06.2022. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh, Registrar (i/c), Finance Officer(i/c), Controller of Examinations, Librarian, Director-Physical Education, Faculty, Staff & Student participated in the event and performed basic Asanas.

Ramanujan School of Mathematical Sciences of Pondicherry University celebrated “National Mathematics Day” on 22.12.2021. Vice-Chancellor paid tribute to Shri Srinivasa Ramanujan by garlanding his bust at the entrance of the school.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh laid the foundation stone at “Bhoomi Pooja Ceremony” on 27.09.2021, for construction of new Quarters Building. Director (SEI&RR), Director (C&CR), Registrar i/c, Finance Officer i/c, Executive Engineer i/c & other official were present.

Vice-Chancellor Prof.Gurmeet Singh paid homage to the legendary poet and freedom fighter ‘Mahakavi Bharathi’ Subramania Bharati on his 100th Death Anniversary.
