Dr. Richa Agnihotri, Research Associate-III, Indo-Swiss Joint Research Project at the Centre for Sustainability and Climate Studies, Pondicherry University, was facilitated by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor on receiving the Young Scientist Award.

MoE has awarded AI Centre of Excellence for healthcare with Pondicherry University as a partner institution along with JIPMER & IIT for 2 Crores (Phase-I). Vice Chancellor congratulated the team.

Vice-Chancellor (i/c) Prof. K.Tharanikkarasu felicitated Prof. Dr. Ragupathy Dhanusuraman, Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) for receiving Best Paper Award from ES Engineering Science Society (Knoxville, USA) event held at MAHSA University, Selangor, Malaysia.

Vice-Chancellor (i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu felicitated Prof. Dr. Nagarajan Velmurugan, Department of Electronics Engineering for receiving the IEEE Best Researcher Award in the IEEE Annual Meeting 2024 held at Hotel Royal Le Meridien, Chennai.

Professor, School of Tamil) for being awarded with First Prize & Cash award of Rs.50000/- for Paper Presentation in “Kanithamizh Conference” organized by Govt. of T.N

Vice-Chancellor i/c congratulated Dr. Hannah & Team, Dept. of Biotechnology who has been awarded Patent on Novel Nanoformulation developed for wound healing. It comprises of Keratin from chicken feathers, pectin from banana peel, ferulic acid from plants & silver nano particles.

Dr.Saravanan Velu, Dept of Performing Arts received KALAIGAR PORKKILI AWARD-2024 from Tamil Nadu Sports Minister Udayanidhi Stalin for his outstanding contributions to the field of Drama. He was felicitated by Pondicherry University Vice-Chancellor Dr.Tharanikkarasu, Director(CC&R) Dr.Clement Sagayaraja Lourdes, Registrar Dr. Rajneesh Bhutani, Finance Officer Dr.Lazar and Dean, School of Performing and Dr.Sridharan Arts.

Prof. Gurmeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor congratulated Dr. P. Thilakan, Professor, Dept. of Green Energy Technology & his team for receiving Indian Patent No.458223 for “Preparation of Rutile TiO 2 Sol-Gel” by overcoming its high temperature crystallization issue.

Prof. Gurmeet Singh, VC congratulated Dr. R. M. Murugaiyan, Faculty of Dept. of Tamil, PUCC for receiving “Kalaimamani Award” from the Govt. of Puducherry. VC also extended his felicitations to him for being nominated as Member of the Advisory Committee of “Sahitya Akademi”.
