Pondicherry University celebrated 75th Independence Day on 15 th August 2021. Vice-Chancellor Prof.Gurmeet Singh hoisted National Flag.

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh flagged off Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 event on 13th Aug. 2021 organised by Dept. of Physical Education & Sports. Children, Students, Faculty & Staff of Pondicherry University actively participated the event.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh felicitated Prof. Tirupathi Rao, Department of Statistics, for receiving “Outstanding Scientist Award”.

Pondicherry University was one of the two universities selected for the research study “Universities facing Climate Change and Sustainability” from India, in addition to the universities from the USA, South Africa, Germany, Japan, Brazil, and the UK, supported by the GUC Hamburg.
