Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the 12th InSPA International Conference “Meeting the Challenges in Schools: Towards Atmanirbhar Bharat” at Pondicherry University on 02.10.2022.

Oct. 2nd of every year is observed as Gandhi Jayanti to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. He was at the forefront of the freedom struggle against colonial British rule. Let us remember & salute the man who led us on the path to get Independence. Happy Gandhi Jayanti.

MoU signing ceremony between the CSIR Fourth Paradigm Institute, Bangalore and Pondicherry University, Puducherry held on 30 September 2022 at 3.00 p.m., in the Executive Council Hall, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Administrative Building, Pondicherry University.

As a part of 12th InSPA International Conference Prof. Gurmeet Singh, VC inaugurated “Pre-Conference Children Assembly for School Students” in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha, Puducherry Technological University, & TN Teachers Education University, Chennai on 01.10.22 @ PTU.

The Department of Tourism Studies organised Workshop on Rethinking Tourism, Launched SAFAR – Tourism Innovation and Incubation Centre, Blood Donation Camp jointly with JIPMER and Rotary Club, Udaan – Kite Fest, and Mazaa Cultural Fiesta to mark the World Tourism Day (September, 27, 2022)

French delegates from Gustave Eiffel University, France called on Prof. Gurmeet Singh, VC and had a brief interaction on Research & Funding opportunities followed by an interaction session with the Deans, HoDs, MoU Coordinators & Faculty members held at Council Hall on 21.09.2022.

Grant of Rs.40,000/- by Pondicherry University in Concrete Housing Scheme become a reality for Persons with Disability in Tamil Nadu.

Reopened Day Care Centre & Pre-Primary School on 16.09.2022 after a gap of two years (Covid-19). The newly admitted children and Coordinator welcomed Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh, with Bouquet & Flowers. Coordinator, Teachers & Staff of the Centre/School organised the ceremony.

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh released the First Copy of the book Va.Ra.’s “Subramania Bharati, A Biography”, Translated into English by Amshan Kumar on 12.09.2022
