Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh inaugurated IQAC – Times Higher Education – Impact Rankings: Sensitization meeting on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) on 15.12.2022 and 20.12.2022.

Prof. Gurmeet Singh, VC released the Pondicherry University Calendar for the year 2023. Director (SEI&RR), Director (C&CR), Faculty & Officers of the University were present during the release.

Prof. Gurmeet Singh, VC inaugurated & delivered a presidential address to mark the observance of Discrimination against Women Pakhwada organised by the Sexual Harassment Prevention Committee.

Prof Gurmeet Singh VC, inaugurated the Industry Institute Interface Programme IIIP in the Department of Statistics and delivered inaugural address.

Prof. Gurmeet Singh VC, had a review meeting with the Foreign Students of Pondicherry University on 09.12.2022. Director (SEI&RR), Dean (IR), Deputy Registrar & Asst. Registrar (P&D) were present during the meeting.

Prof. Gurmeet Singh VC, in the Valedictory function of Three Day Workshop for Ph.D Full Time Scholars on Research & Publication Ethics conducted by Pondicherry University HRDC on 09.12.22.

Prof. Gurmeet Singh VC, inaugurated the National Conference on Recent Trends in Green Energy Technologies sponsored by South Asia Foundation. The conference was organised by Madanjeet School of Green Energy Technologies, Pondicherry University on 08.12.22 in CCC of PU.

Mr. Shelley Salehin, Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Chennai called on Prof. Gurmeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Pondicherry University on 07.12.2022 as a courtesy visit.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Gurmeet Singh has been conferred with “Nawab Bahadur Syed Nawab Ali Chowdhury Award 2022” in the International Conference on “Issues & Discourses around Liberal Arts & Humanities” organised by Faculty of Arts, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

Pondicherry University has entered into an International MoU with Policy Research Centre, Bangladesh in association with the Rajshahi University.
