Pondicherry University Weightlifting Team (Men) has been participated in South West Zone Varsity Weightlifting Championship and secured 3rd place Bronze Medal under 100+ category. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor(i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu graced the Medallist and the team of Physical Education today.

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor(i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu inaugurated the digital information board at the entrance of the University gate. During this occasion Director (CCR) Prof. Clement S. Lourdes, Registrar Prof. Rajneesh Bhutani, Finance Officer Prof. D. Lazar, other faculty members and Officers participated.

The MoU signing ceremony between Pondicherry University and University of Reunion Island, France through online has been held today at EC Hall in the presence of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor (i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu. During this occasion Director (CCR), Registrar(i/c), Finance Officer(i/c), Other Officers, Faculty Members and Students presented.

Vice-Chancellor (i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu congratulated University Librarian Dr. M. Vijayakumar for receiving Felicitation Message from the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi ji for the “G20 Library Summit 2024” held at Pondicherry University.

VC (i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu delivered inaugural address at the Seminar: Environmental Priorities of Viksit Bharat@2047 organised by Centre for Pollution Control & Environmental Engg. on 13.02.2024. Faculty, Students and Staff actively participated in the Seminar.

Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu, Vice-Chancellor(i/c) congratulated Dr. R. Sunitha (Assoc. Professor, CSE) & her scholars along with Dr. V. Dhanalakshmi (Assoc. Professor, School of Tamil) for being awarded with First Prize & Cash award of Rs.50000/- for Paper Presentation in “Kanithamizh Conference” organized by Govt. of T.N

Ms. Saranya A, Ph.D. Scholar, Department of Computer Science, PU attended the Republic Day 2024 celebration at New Delhi. She was nominated by Govt. of Puducherry. She was privileged to meet the Hon. President of India, PM the Union Minister of Tribal Affairs & on the auspicious occasion.

Pondicherry University Dept. of Computer Science in association with National Institute of MSME, extended invitation to our Vice-Chancellor(i/c) Prof. K. Tharanikarsu, for the one-week workshop on “Cyber Security” to encourage Entrepreneurs in Cyber Security space. The topics includes Cybersecurity, Cyber Attacks, Cyber Forensics, etc.

Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu, Vice-Chancellor( i/c) congratulated the Horticulture Wing of Pondicherry University for winning “First Place” (among Institution in Puducherry) and a “Rolling Trophy Cup” in the Flower Show conducted by the Govt. of Puducherry at the Botanical Garden from 9th to 11th Feb. 2024.

Pondicherry University signed an MoU with Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) on 09.02.2024. The Registrar (i/c), PU and Dr. R. R. Dhanapall, Chairman, IIPA-Puducherry, exchanged the MoU in the presence of VC (i/c) Prof. Tharanikkarasu and other officials of PU.
