Research Area
Dr. K. Reshmi completed M.A. and M.Phil. from the Department of English, Pondicherry University and Ph.D from Avinashilingam University. She is a recipient of Pondicherry University Gold Medal for M.Phil degree. She has twenty seven years of teaching experience. Her areas of interest are Women’s Literature, Literature and Environment, Canadian Literature, Postcolonial Literature, Modern British Literature and Literary Theory. She has published several articles in reputed journals and books, presented papers in National and International Conferences and delivered lectures as Plenary speaker in many academic institutions. She has authored books titled Ecofeminist Perspective in Margaret Atwood, Woman’s Quest for New Self and Identity and Co-Edited Critical Essays on New Feminist Writings. As a research guide in Pondicherry University, she is guiding many scholars; nine scholars have successfully received Doctoral degree with her guidance. Her passion in life is reading and teaching.
