Ph.D. Ecology and Environmental Sciences

The PhD program in Ecology & Environmental Sciences allows scholar to do research not only on fundamental issues but also advanced inter-disciplinary research related to ecology and environment. Scholars learn, with the support of a research supervisor, to identify a research problem which is ecologically or environmentally significant, socially relevant, and globally important. Scholars learn and apply standard field /lab techniques to collect data and appropriate statistical technique to analyse. Publishing research work in peer-reviewed journals is also part of the program. At the end of the PhD program, scholars will be become independent researchers who are able to execute scientific research in their field of interest.

Eligibility

Master’s degree in Ecology & Environmental Sciences or any related branch of Science or Technology with a minimum of 55% of marks.
