M.B.A. Tourism & Travel Management
MBA (Tourism & Travel Management) is a two-year super specialization full-time course with its focus area of teaching-learning, blended with the subjects derived from economics, commerce & management on one end and tourism, travel and hospitality as core domain in another end. All core management related subjects are meant for the application of knowledge of innovation & leadership in tourism and its allied business sectors. This has resulted in enhancing much scope for employment and entrepreneurship. With the demand of industry, the nomenclature of MBA (TTM) has been changed MBA (Tourism Administration) in 2018, that got originally changed from Master of Tourism Administration in 2003, so as to incorporate need based subjects demanded by the industry. Being a professional programme with thrust on employment, the course aims to attract graduates with much interest and zeal to acquire domain knowledge, skills and competencies required to serve tourism, travel and hospitality industry. This programme has been well accepted by the employers for four distinct quality attributes such as course curriculum, highly qualified, trained and experienced teachers, advanced teaching-learning ecosystem and interface with industry partners.
MBA(TTM) programme is designed with the scope for theoretical, practical and field-based learning. Travel Agency & Tour Operation
The programme is designed to arouse interest among the students to pursue career in inbound, outbound and domestic tour operation business since there is a growing demand for leisure travel. This has been evident from the facts that a vast majority of the students get placed in outbound tour companies. The scope of employment is expanding since outbound tour is a thriving business in India due to the rising demand of middle class population to travel to overseas destinations. The MBA(TTM) graduates are placed at the entry level as management trainee or business executives. Many alma matters are holding the middle and top level positions in the tour operation area.
Airline and Airport
The programme aims to open career opportunities in airline sector since the domestic aviation sector in India is expanding with the addition of new air carriers and new destinations. Moreover, there is an increasing demand for air travel in India. The students are adequately trained to be motivated towards making career like air ticketing, marketing, customer care, etc in aviation sector.
Hospitality
Hospitality is a thrust area of the programme and the students find promising career opportunities in the sector. Lead hotel groups do hire the students for lucrative job in the area of Marketing, Human Resource Management & Guest Relations.

The programme aims to open career opportunities in Meeting, Incentive, Conference & Exhibition as an emerging area of business. MICE dominates all focus areas in terms of the volume of attracting investment and generating employment at different levels. Broadly, large travel agencies operate the business of MICE under the Corporate Travel. The students are shifting the choices to MICE for lucrative pay package and career promotion. Further, this focus area opens window of entrepreneurial opportunities in this sector.

Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 % of marks. Admission of students into the two-year MBA Tourism
and Travel Management (TTM) programme offered by

secured by the candidates from the CAT examinations held
in 2019 from the academic year 2020-2021. Candidates
