Research Area
Dr. V. Kavida is a Professor in the Department of Commerce at Pondicherry University, Karaikal Campus. With over 25 years of teaching experience, she specializes in finance, intellectual capital, and intellectual property rights. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance and multiple postgraduate degrees in commerce, management, and law. Dr. Kavida has guided several M.Phil. and Ph.D. scholars and completed a research project funded by ICSSR. Her work is widely published in national and international journals, and she has been actively involved in organizing academic seminars and conferences. Known for her academic leadership, she has also served as Head of Department and Faculty Coordinator for various Workshops/Events at the university.
