Completed postgraduate degree and Ph.D. from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi, Kerala. Currently serving as Associate Professor at
Pondicherry University. Research primarily focuses on seismotectonics and the
application of gravity and magnetic methods in crustal structure studies.
Also serves as Deputy Chief warden of Girls Hostels, Member of School board, Faculty co-ordinator of Students chapter of Indian Geophysical Union(IGU).
