Dr. S. Janakiraman has received Ph.D.(Computer Science and Engineering) degree under Faculty of ICE from Anna University, India, in the year 2010. He has obtained both of his M.E.(Computer Science and Engineering) and B.E.,(Electrical and Electronics Engineering) from Madurai Kamaraj University, India. He is currently serving as Professor, Department of Banking Technology (An Inter-disciplinary of Computer Science and Engineering and Management) at Pondicherry University, Pondicherry, India. He has 22 years of teaching and research experience. There are 6 scholars completed Ph.D. under his guidance. He has published more than 60 research papers in SCI, SCIE, Scopus indexed journals. He has presented more than 50 research papers in international/national conferences. He is an active reviewer in reputed journals published by IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, etc. He has completed a project funded by TNSCST, Chenna and doing a research project funded by ICSSR, New Delhi. He is a member in ISTE, Institution of Engineers (India), etc. He is the Coordinator for Memorandum of Understanding between Indiana University, USA and Pondicherry University. He is the Placement Coordinator for the Department of Banking Technology. He occupied administrative positions like NSS Programme Officer, Deputy Chairman, Sports Board, AUTC.
