I was born and raised in Palacode, Dharmapuri District, Tamil Nadu, India. After obtaining my Master’s degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Madras in 2001, I moved to University of Hyderabad for my Doctoral degree and graduated in 2006. Then, I went abroad (Potsdam-Germany, Paris-France, and Dublin-Ireland) for my postdoctoral studies and gained 4 years of research experience. In August 2010, I joined herein Pondicherry University as Assistant Professor and serving to date.

I joined Pondicherry University as Assistant Professor in August 2010, and serving as Professor from November 2021 till date.
