Research Area
Dr. R. Jeyshankar is presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science, Pondicherry University. Previously he served as Librarian at S.R.M. Arts and Science College, Chennai and also served as Assistant Professor from 2007 – 2019 and Associate Professor from 2019 to 2022 in the Department of Library and Information Science, Alagappa University. He was selected as an UGC Research Awardee (2012-2014) by UGC and received Alagappa Excellence Award for Research in the year 2017. He has guided 16 Ph.Ds, 30 M.Phils and he is guiding 6 Ph.D. research scholars at present. He has successfully completed a minor project with ‘’Alagappa University Research Fund (AURF), and two major projects from “Indian Council Social Science Research (ICSSR) and University Grant Commission (UGC)”.
