Research Area
Dr. M.Banumathi has Doctorate in Economics and MBA in Marketing, did her intensive Faculty Development Programme in IIM Ahmedabad. She has over 28 years of academic experience serving in various capacities at leading institutions like PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore and BITS Pilani. She currently teaches Economics, International Strategic Management, Retail Marketing, Digital and Social Media Marketing and New Product Development. She also passionate towards teaching values and shaping young minds. Her area of interest is Green Marketing, Environmental studies, Digital Marketing and International Trade. She was a recipient of AICTEs Young Teacher Career Award. She has guided Ph.D scholars in the area of sustainable practices such as Corporate Environmental Responsibility and Organic Farming. She has presented papers and published articles in the area of sustainable practices.
