Dr. Suresh Babu is a Professor at the Centre for Nanoscience and Technology, Pondicherry University, with over two decades of experience in academia and research in the fields of materials science and nanotechnology. He earned his Ph.D. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from IIT Madras, following postgraduate degrees in Materials Science and Engineering (M.E.) and Chemistry (M.Sc.). His research focuses on the development of advanced materials and devices for fuel and energy generation, surface engineering, and theranostic applications. Dr. Babu has authored over 90 scientific publications, holds several patents, and has supervised numerous Ph.D. and M.Tech. students. His research has been supported by competitive funding exceeding ₹150 lakhs from various national and international agencies.
