Dr. J. Rama Krishna Naik currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies at Pondicherry University. With a strong academic background, Dr. Naik holds an MBA from Acharya Nagarjuna University and a Ph.D. in Management from Pondicherry University, awarded in 2015. His scholarly journey is marked by excellence, having qualified the UGC-NET twice, in 2012 and 2013, showcasing his expertise in management education. Additionally, he has served as a UGC Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Canara Bank School of Management Studies, Bangalore University, a prestigious position awarded by the Government of India.
Dr. Naik’s research contributions are commendable, with 18 research publications in esteemed SCOPUS, ABDC-ranked, and UGC Care-listed journals. His work spans critical areas such as service quality, digital marketing, AI-enabled customer engagement, healthcare management, and financial services, among others. His ongoing research includes ‘Measuring Service Quality and Analyzing the Mediating Role of Switching Costs in the Express Delivery Industry’ and ‘Impact of AI-Enabled Chatbot Adoption Intention on Guest Satisfaction, Engagement, and Loyalty in Hospitality Services in India.’
Beyond his research and teaching endeavors, Dr. Naik has actively participated in academic governance and quality assurance. He has served as a Member of the Board of Examiners at Bengaluru North University, contributed as a paper setter and examiner for various universities, and held significant roles such as Deputy Chief Superintendent and Chief Squad for MBA examinations.
Dr. Naik’s professional affiliations include lifetime memberships in reputed organizations such as the Academy of Hospital Administration, the International Association for Promotion of Healthcare and Life Science Research, and the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations. He is also an esteemed reviewer for international journals, including those published by Emerald Group Publishing.
